OUR TEAM

Joined forces for a brand new entertainment experience

In contemplating our tenth anniversary year in 2020, we anticipated that January would be dark. We had no reason to believe we would be shuttered since March 2020! When it became apparent that productions of any kind would be hopeless due to the wide spread outbreak of Covid-19, Rich, Susan, Cheryl, Jay and Randy sat down to discuss the best way to utilize our enforced respite.

Good Earth Market

Located about a mile west of us on Route 26, the Good Earth Market, which began operations at about the same time as we did, has, for the past decade, been not only one of my favorite food purveyors in the world (Sue Bloch casts a concurring vote on that), but also one of the best restaurants on the shore. In discussions with Susan Ryan, the founder and proprietor, we quickly discovered a successful format that is delighting our audiences.

Dickens Parlour Theatre and Good Earth Market
invite you to experience the magic of:

Dickens Parlour Theatre

When

Dickens Parlour Theatre opened its doors on March 25, 2022.

Where

Dickens Parlour Theatre, complete with spacious seating, state-of-the-art lighting, heating and ventilation systems, is located immediately next to the Good Earth Market on its campus. Parking is plentiful and easily accessible right behind our building. The theatre’s own open-air patio adjoins to the Good Earth Market’s veranda, making way for presentations under the stars.

Offerings

Dickens Parlour Theatre has expanded to twice it’s original size and has enabled us to present a wider range of entertainment that includes world-class magicians, comedy, live music, theatrical performances. In addition, we host informative lectures such as the “Inside Story” program sponsored by the Coastal Point.

Because of our unique cabaret setting, the facility is available to rent for your next special event including weddings, birthday parties, meetings, and informal gatherings.
